WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?

Confirmation is an opportunity for students in grades 5–7 to take a deep dive into what it means to know and follow Jesus. Through the study of Scripture and Luther’s Small Catechism, students will build on the foundations of the Christian faith learned in childhood. Topics include the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Baptism, Confession and Absolution, and the Lord’s Supper. Along the way, they’ll explore how God’s Word shapes what we believe, how we live, and how we understand our identity as His children. Confirmation is a chance to ask questions, build a strong foundation for faith, and grow in a lifelong relationship with Christ and His Church.

It is required that you bring a parent or guardian to your first confirmation meeting.
