The Women’s Ministry Leadership team at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church is comprised of five women. The team is guided by three key objectives: providing compassionate care for women; promoting educational opportunities for women; and fostering fellowship that shares the message of Christ (Christ in You – Christ to the World).
Our primary objective is to provide prayer, guidance and support to the women of the church. The Leadership team extends its support and compassion to women who are single or have lost a partner, known as our Women with Grace. We recognize their needs and provide support via prayer and outreach. We pray daily for these women, maintain contact, and reach out as needed. This includes home visits to those who are homebound.
How does Women’s Ministry at Fountain of Life implement PRISM?
PRAY: Our basic leadership team is five women who are committed to this high priority need.
RELATIONSHIPS: We work at building relationships with the women, their families and the church community. This starts at the Welcome desk every Sunday morning and then throughout the week at various fellowship and service activities.
INSTRUCTION: Women’s Bible studies are held Monday evening at 6:30 pm and again at 9 am on Tuesday at the church. Occasionally we will have a women study on Sundays following the service.
SERVICE & MISSION: Service and mission are demonstrated through fellowship events, collaboration with other teams to share God's word, participation in nursing home ministries, and involvement with the LCMS Lutheran Women in Missions to name a few.
